We collect the following information from our users:

Name and Email: Collected when you create an account in the app. This allows us to identify your account, send important updates, and communicate with you.

Form Responses: We collect answers you submit in forms or onboarding surveys to improve your app experience and personalize your study tools.

Usage Analytics: Our website uses Google Analytics to understand general user behavior and improve our site performance. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you. Protos does not use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

Payment Information: If you make purchases or subscriptions, payment processing is handled securely through RevenueCat, Apple App Store, or Google Play Store. Protos does not store or directly process your payment details.

All purchases and subscriptions are managed through the App Store or Google Play, and any billing issues can be handled directly through those platforms.

2. Purpose of Data Collection

We use your information for the following purposes:

• To create and manage your account
• To send you important updates, onboarding messages, and product news
• To process payments for premium features or subscriptions
• To analyze app performance and website usage for improvements

Your data is only shared with trusted service providers that help us operate Protos, including:

• Supabase: for secure data storage and user management
• Loops: for sending transactional and product emails
• RevenueCat, Apple, and Google Play: for managing subscriptions and payments
• Cloudflare and Railway: for app hosting, performance, and security

Each of these providers is bound by their own privacy and data protection policies. We do not authorize them to use your information for any purpose other than providing their services to Protos.

Our service is not directed to children under 13 years of age.

We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use Protos or provide any personal information.

If we learn that we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
