By using our mobile application ("App") or our website located at https://protos-app.com ("Website"), you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our products and services.
Protos is a Bible study app designed to help users understand Scripture through guided tools, commentary, and book context. Our mission is to make deep study clear and approachable for everyday readers.
Protos offers both free and premium features, including study tools, commentary access, and habit-tracking features for Bible learning.
To use Protos, you must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your country of residence. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
If you are under 18, you may use Protos only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information and for all activities under their account.
Protos offers optional in-app purchases and subscription plans (weekly, monthly, and yearly) that unlock additional features and content.
Purchases are processed securely through Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and RevenueCat.
Prices and renewal terms are displayed within the app. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change based on Apple App Store or Google Play pricing tiers.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
You can manage or cancel your subscriptions through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
All payments and subscription renewals are managed by Apple and Google directly.
Protos does not process refunds or cancellations itself.
Refunds are subject to the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Deleting the app or closing your account does not cancel your subscription automatically.

We handle user data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We collect your name, email address, and form responses to operate and improve the service. Google Analytics is used for our website (not inside the mobile app) to understand general usage trends.
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties outside of our trusted service providers, including Supabase, Loops, RevenueCat, Cloudflare, and Railway.
Protos includes Bible text and commentary content sourced from public domain and open-licensed materials.

Protos is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding accuracy, reliability, or availability.
In no event shall Protos or its team be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the app, including but not limited to data loss or device issues.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Protos, its developers, and affiliates from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the app or violation of these Terms.
