How long does the One year, in order take?
365 days. It covers all 1,189 chapters of the Bible, about 85 verses a day.
Is the One year, in order free?
Yes. The whole schedule is on this page and the printable PDF is free to download, with no account and no email.
Does every chapter get read exactly once?
Yes. The plan is checked against the text before it ships: all 1,189 chapters appear, none twice, and no day is left empty.
Why are some days longer than others?
Days are balanced by verse count rather than chapter count, because chapters vary enormously. Psalm 119 is 176 verses and Psalm 117 is two, so a chapter-balanced plan would hand out a twenty minute day and a two minute day and call them equal.
What if I miss a day?
Pick up where you left off. The order is what matters here, not the date beside it, and nothing in the plan breaks if you read Tuesday's passage on Thursday.
